Blossom Petals Punch for PPA87

This weeks Pals Paper Arts Challenge is to use a punch, or two... You can use a punch for the main image, or just for the sentiment. The possibilities are endless. I used the Blossoms Petal Punch from the Occasions Mini to create a flower as the main focal image of my card. I love how the tone on tone colors look after they are "punched" out. Stamp Sets: Build a Blossom (Occasions Mini CM-121994 WM-121923), & Something to Celebrate (Occasions Mini Hostess Level 2 CM-121955 WM-121897_ Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy (105123), Not Quite Navy (101722), Always Artichoke (105119), & Paisley Petals (Promotion starting 4/1) Ink: Always Artichoke (105219), & Bravo Burgundy (105214) Cool Tools: Blossoms Petal Punch (Occasions Mini 121808), & Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch (119275) Perfect Touch: Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon (Occasions Mini (121000), Antique Brads (117273), & Basic Pearls (119247) Extra’s: Snail (104332), & Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430) All Products/Images used are Stampin’ Up! Have a Seat with Sweet Sunday Sketch # 110

My Step-Father asked me to make him a Thank You card for a really good friend of his. I really have trouble with Masculine Cards so I hope this one will do. I kept it as simple and clean as I could. I also choose this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge from Karen Giron. Not to much going on with the sketch so I thought it went along with the Masculine approach I was looking for.
Stamp Sets: Have a Seat (CM-120447 WM-116696), & Define Your Life (WM-114950) Cardstock: Chocolate Chip (102128), Crumb Cake (120953)), & Woodland Walk DSP (117389) Ink: Chocolate Chip (100908)

MDS Layout with Stamping411 # 196

This is a really quick project made with MDS (My Ditigal Studio) With this week's Stamping411 Sketch Challenge. I have been crazy busy the last couple of days and trying to catch up. Instead of creating a card for this sketch Challenge I opted to create a Ditigal 2 page layout. I love that I can create pages while watching TV, helping the kids with homework, or cooking...and the best part is NO Cleanup!
For this 2 page layout I used the Play Date Suite of goodies. Play Date DSP (121438), Play Date Quick Accents Kit (123432), & Play Date Embellishments (123433)

MDS Friday

More pages for my youngest daughter Candice. With the help of her Mau-Mau (my mother) they grew carrots last summer. Candice was able to pull them out of the ground all by herself! Then we took them home, cleaned them up and cooked them for dinner! They were yummy!

Here is another great ScrapSketch23 from the My Digital Studio website!

MDS Project for The Paper Players Color Challenge

Here is a 2-page layout I did for my oldest daughter Cameron when she turned 9 back in 2008. I surprised her with a day trip to New York City to go to The American Girl Doll Store and to see The Little Mermaid on Broadway. It was a great Mother-daughter Day!
The colors for this weeks The Paper Players Challenge worked so well with the colors in the picture inside the American Girl Restaurant.
I used Baja Breeze for the background with a piece of Early Espresso DSP from Botanical Gazette. Blushing Bride and Early Espresso ink is used for the Circle Circus Stamp set.
I hope you like this quick & easy digital Scrapbook layout!

MDS Friday

I Can't believe it's Friday already. I am really loving MDS (My Digital Studio). I was able to put this page together in about 20 minutes. The best part is that there is no clean up, and I can bring my laptop upstairs and create while the kids are doing homework!

I used this weeks ScrapSketch22 Layout from the MDS website. A fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is coming up with these weekly sketches. I am in the mist of creating a Family Scrapbook for the last 5 years, so I will use this sketch over and over for each year.

Stampin' Up! just released new downloads for MDS. Click here to view them.

That's it for today!
