Vintage Style for PPA80

Those were the Days....is the Inspiration for this week's Pals Paper Art Challenge! Vintage style is a weak spot for me for sure! I am a clean and crisp kind of gal when it comes to stamping. One of my Stamping Goals for 2011 is to make more vintage type of cards. How did I do?

The Bold color of her skirt was the first thing that jumped out out me when I saw this photo. So that is the color combo I went with. I antiqued the Cherry Cobbler with Basic Black to mute it a little bit. The result almost looks like suede.
Stamp Sets: Medallion (WM-115223), & Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370), & Punch Potpourri (Hostess Level 1 IB&C CM-120124 WM-118394)
Cardstock: Basic Black (121045), Cherry Cobbler (119685), & Love Letter DSP (117162)

Ink: Basic Black (101179), & Versa Mark (102283)

Cool Tools: 1 ¾” Circle Punch (119850), Word Window Punch (119857), Heat Tool (100005), & Sponges (101610)
Perfect Touch: Basic Black Satin Ribbon (117285), Victoria Crochet Trim (118481), Clear Embossing Powder (109130), White Embossing Powder (109132), Neutrals Designer Buttons (119743), & Hemp Twine (100982)
Extra’s: Snail (104332), Sticky Strip (104294), & Glue Dots (103683)
Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Stephanie, I love that you used two different stamp sets together - the medallion and the punch potpourri. I never think to do that and must think outside the box more.
